For Dad

Isaac is out in Houston, still, and is starting to get homesick. So I'm posting some pictures for him of the kids. We miss you Hun, and can't wait until you get home! We love you all the way to Houston and back!

KADE WALKING

Our little boy is starting walk. He's been taking steps for a month now, but he is finally getting enough courage to stand up and walk by himself. He's doing so good. By next month he'll be a pro!

Trip to Houston

Jerika, Becky, and I all flew down to Houston, TX to visit our hot hubbies for the weekend. I was very proud of how well Jerika did on the plane. Way to go Jer! We flew out on Wed. and stayed until Sunday. We had a blast! We were able to relax and also go and see the sites. Thursday started out with Mike handing us the GPS and told us to follow the directions to "Becky's Wonderland". It was so cute. We ended up at the outlets with money to spend. And that is exactly what we did. I went out of control. I spent all of my money and wanted to go back and buy more.

I especially loved the elastic bands on the side. What do you think?

We also were able to go to the temple, which was beautiful. On the way home, a van pulled up next to ask with some teenagers in the back. They were pointing and freaking out. Isaac thought they were laughing at us. Then they started using their hands to spell "mormon". And we said yes, they were so excited! Living in Utah I think we get so used to being around LDS people that we take it for granted. It made my day to see how happy they were to see us.

We finally got to go back to our favorite restaurant; Texas Land and Cattle. MMMMM, it was SOO good! They have the best steak ever! We also were able to go to NASA, Body World, or Body Works, and the Aquarium. Although all that was fun, my favorite was being Isaac and watching movies together. Our last night there we ate Panda in our bed and just watched t.v. and talked until 2 am. It was so fun just to be together and not have to worry about the kids. Isaac is a great husband, and i'm truly lucky to have him. I miss him and can not wait until he comes home. Hopefully, only 2 more weeks! Cross your fingers!

Leah's Dance and Kade

Saidy Decided it was time for a hair cut. I was talking with Angelique and her friend Melissa, when Melissa says, "Is that cutting?" I immediately knew someone was cutting their hair. Saidy had given herself bangs and some layers in the front. She actually did a pretty good job. Maybe i'll have a hair dresser in my family, which i would LOVE!
Leah and Brelynn

Leah had her first dance recital and looked SOO adorable. She did such a good job. I was so proud of her. Isaac, Grandma Gurr, Angelique, Saidy, and I were all able to go and support our little girl. At the end of the program all of the dancers were sitting on the stage while their teacher said a few words. Well, Leah and a couple other girls were running to the front of the stage, pose, and then run back. Then they would go and swing on the hand railing, and run around. It was pretty funny, but eventually Isaac did have to talk to Leah and have her sit down.

Kade figured out how to climb in the drawer!

Snow Mobiling

This Winter, Isaac and I were able to escape down to Daniels Summit with Mike Becky for a couple of days and enjoy the outdoors on our snow mobiles. We had a blast and great weather. We were only there for 2 days, but had a great time. Plus, the 2nd day my snow mobile decided not to work so Becky and I spent the half of the day warming up in bed and watching movies.

It was nice to get away from the business of life and enjoy the outdoors.

Mike and Isaac were crazy and were not at all afraid to try big jumps and see how high they could climb with their machines. They spent many hours digging their machines out of the snow. Although they climbed mountains and jumped over hills, they didn't beat the jump I made (not on purpose i might add).

I was riding the machine and decided that i'll see how fast i can get it going. I wasn't paying attention to the geographics of the land, and missed a creek up ahead. By the time I noticed the creek I was going to fast to stop, so the only options i had was to floor it and try jumping the creek or to stop and do a nose dive. I gunned it and closed my eyes! I made it and only got mild bruising. And luckily, i was wearing a helmet, which saved my life when i rammed my head through the windshield. I can laugh about the experience now, but it was really scary and shook me up a bit.
